  • You know what?  I think - I think - spring has finally gotten the upper hand here in North Idaho...I think.  It's hard to tell sometimes.
  • But, the weather was lovely yesterday and I rode Bob for the first time this spring=)
  • I was also able to let the horses out on pasture for the first time last night.  They loved that:)  I have pictures that I'll post later.
  • I have a praise report: my mom, who has Lyme disease and suddenly lost the ability to walk last June, is starting to walk again!  Praise the Lord!  We are so excited!!  She still has good days and bad days, but she's doing so much better=D  Thank you to everyone who has been praying for her!
  • Along that same line, my family is "abandoning" me for 5 -10 days this month.  *sniff*
  • They're going down to California to see my mom's Lyme disease doctor.
  • I don't really mind being left behind, though.   I'm going to do a lot of resting, reading, movie watching, and some serious cleaning and sewing while they're away...after I've rested:)
  • And, my dear Kellie might get to spend the night=D
  • So, it'll really be quite fun. :)
  • Intruders, take note: I have a gun and I'm not afraid to use it.  I also have a big, vicious boxer dog.  Do not start something you can't finish.  Thank you.
  • I talked to my wonderful cousin Abbie on the phone Saturday night.
  • We talked for 2 1/2 hours.
  • Since we live on opposite ends of the US and don't talk to each other on the phone very often, when we do talk we have a lot to talk about:)
  • While talking, Abbie was watching Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.  My chosen movie was Pride & Prejudice (2005).  We compared notes every once in a while...and we may or may not have squealed a few times over Matthew Macfadyen.  ;)
  • I think next time we should watch the same movie - the next best thing to watching movies together, right Cuz?
  • I love my cousin very, very much:)
  • You know, I think North & South is my very favorite BBC miniseries.   It's not just another fluffy love story.  It's about conflicts between different social classes, mill workers and unions.  I find it all so very fascinating.  So intense.
  • And, of course, Richard Armitage as Mr. Thornton is amazing.   *swoon*
  • I need to get my family's clothes washed and sorted out for them to take on their trip and then pack them into the motor home, so I'd better get going...
  • Until next time, Happy Trails!:)
