Heyyo everyone! I created a quick scene today using my old U.S.S. Vengeance Ship (I'm sure you all remember that one, if not you can visit the old thread here). I'm pleased to say that it turned out better than I expected! Suggestions, comments and criticism is appreciated!

Note: I may try to get Aubrey to export this as a world. I'm also considering releasing it as an open source project for you to download and take a look at if there's interest in it (for any Unity users out there).

Information
Title: Invasion Force
Description: A fleet of U.S.S. Vengeance ships heading ominously towards a planet that closely resembles Earth.
Time-frame: Late 24th century

Awesome! The texturing on the USS Vengance is amazing. I also like the Brightness on the planet/sun.

Thanks! Some people I showed this render to said that the image was a bit dark. Do you think I should lighten it some?

This looks done in unity, correct?

and is the planet a skybox or another model?

It looks very nice

Yes, the scene was created in Unity. The planet (and moon) is a sphere with a shader that simulates the atmosphere blur.

Very nicely done, Achilles. You really are good at this. I just have 2 minor crtiques, though:

1: The scene could use some more stars. At the moment the horizon seems somewhat bare.

2: I don't think the scene is too dark. In fact the lighting is perfect. But the lighting is illogical. The sun is somewhat close, unobstructed and judging from the lens flare the sun is rather bright.  It dosen't make much sense that the ships are so dark.

Other than that, the scene is very high quality and a favorite of mine in this forum. Congratulations.

That very distinct look to the light tipped me off that it was in unity, as far as the planet and moon, looks so good I thought it was a skybox.

Until both you told me and I looked at the lighting a bit
