  • Today is the last day of January - can you believe how quickly this month has gone by?!
  • My "little" brother is going to be turning 19-years-old on the 13th.  Wow.  And then Kellie turns 19 three days later.  Yikes!;)
  • I used the Fred Meyer gift card that our neighbors gave me (Marty and Dolores are the best neighbors ever, and not just because they always give Alex and I a Christmas present;), and purchased these absolutely darling black flats...
  • I saw the Harneds today...but they didn't see me.  My dad and I saw you guys drive by as we were waiting to turn left onto the freeway after a quick stop at Cabelas;)
  • I think I forgot to mention this last week, but I won a giveaway!  I won the Regency Gown ePattern from Sense & Sensibility Patterns that Grace was giving away on her blog=D  Definitely need to plan a trip to the fabric store...
  • I also need to plan a trip to the library to return my books, which are due the third.  Gotta remember to do that.
  • This Friday night is the Open Arms Benefit Concert.  The Hat Band and the Panhandle Polecats will be playing!  I can hardly wait!!!!!!
  • I got to talk with my wonderful Aunt Liz on the phone this evening:)
  • And that's all for now...except that I almost froze to death while feeding the animals this evening - it is seriously cold outside!  Might get down to 6 below zero tonight...and I forgot to put Bob's blanket on while I was out there, so I'm going to have to go out there again...
Happy trails, y'all!

  • No, I really can't as of yet!  I'll have to let it sink in. . .
  • Wow and yikes!=)  I've forgiven Alex for being three days older than me... magnanimous, I know;) and I do hope he's forgiven me for having my party on his birthday last year:)  I felt rather bad about that, though it couldn't really be helped. Lol=)
  • How sweet!  I'm so happy for you!
  • Funny;)
  • How absolutely exciting!!!  That is marvelous!  I can't wait to see what you'll make=)
  • Me, too!  See you there!
  • Brrr - it is too cold tonight.  I'm sorry you had to go out twice:(  Keep warm!
Much love,
~Kellie~

Happy birthday Alex and Kellie! Those shoes are adorable! I need a trip to the libary in the very near future also. Maybe we could plan a trip together like we did a while ago? That was a lot of fun :). I'm really looking forward to the consert also!! See you there!

Once our driveway is clear of ice, I'd love to have another library trip with you!  That was a lot of fun:)
I'll see you Friday!=D

@Kellie -
  • I think Alex has finally forgiven you, but, to be completely honest, he was pretty put out with you for a while:)  Whenever he was having a bad day, he'd tell me all of the things that were bothering him and this always managed to make it onto the list, "And Kellie had her party on MY birthday!!!".  ;D lol.
  • I'm happy for myself=)
  • I think some kind of Regency event is in order, don't you?=D After the lawn party, of course, and after...whatever else we've been planning.  I forget.
  • =D =D =D =D ;)
  • Alex drove me down on the ATV, so I was okay:)  Our pond went from being almost completely bare of ice, to solid enough for me to walk on in one night!  Yes, it's cold.  I'm praying that you guys will stay warm:)
Love you,
~Tasha~

  • I knew he was.  I'm very perceptive=)  Consequently, I was both sorry and amused.  Better not try to hide anything from me. . . ;) lol.
  • Regency event - I concur.  Whole-heartedly.  "The felicities of rapid motion. . . a very heavy set indeed" =D
  • Thank you, dear.  We're doing pretty well. . . :)
Lovingly,
~Kellie~

Hard to believe that Josiah is going to be 13...I remember when he was just a little guy:)

Of course March is really the best month for birthdays, but then I'm biased;D

I know... it is so weird that all of us are growing up!!
I must disagree with you there!  January is the best month for birthdays!  Besides, Ellie's birthday is on my birthday, so that makes it extra special! :)

:)  I always tease about her being my favorite niece and Levi being my favorite nephew, but then he just tells me that I am his only nephew! :)  Aww.. that is really neat!

it IS a good month for birthdays - our own Ivan, of the canned-ham moments, is turning 16 the day after tomorrow.

I'm still staggering over that.

Love those shoes :)

I hate to gloat, but it's supposed to be in the upper 60's here tomorrow. That's actually pretty shocking because lately its been FRIGID. Or at least, my southern little self thought it was frigid and freezing in the slightly-below-30 temperatures lately :)

Good grief!  He can't be turning 16, can he?!  I'm glad you mentioned that, because I completely forgot about his birthday...and I missed Sarah's in January, didn't I?  Snap...

Ahem - it is 10 degrees outside right now...enjoy your 60 degree weather.:)
