Since our first snow on the 18th, it's been snowing quite a bit each day, and we now have 9 in.   It's snowing right now, and we're supposed to get ten more inches if it continues to snow all day and all tonight.  Woopee!!!

The only problem with a lot of snow is that it's pretty much impossible to ice skate on our pond (that's are 1/2 acre pond that you see beyond the bushes), unless we clear it off.  Sometimes when the ice is really thick, we use our small garden tractor to plow part of it off.  That's always nice, sine no one feels like ice skating after using a snow shovel to clear the pond;)

In the meantime, I think some sledding is in order today!=D

Happy trails y'all!

Ice skating sounds like a blast. I can't even remember the last time I went ice skating. That is sort of pathetic becuase we have a lake right down our road. We have about a foot (maybe) here and it's still snowing!! Let it snow!!!

Not much chance of ice skating this year, since we now have well over a foot of snow on the ground!!  And it's still snowing!  Yikes! This is awesome!!!!!!

Barn chores were interesting this morning what with frozen water pipes at the horse barn, having to wade through snow that comes to over my knees, and it was only 5 degrees outside at the time=)  I love pretending I'm Laura Ingalls on days like this, and I love living in North Idaho:)

:)  That about sums it up Tasha!  I've barely been able to get out of the house because Dad has been taking the truck to work.  And Mom won't drive either Cad... :)
