Outside my window...it's just getting dark.

I am thinking...there are a few changes I'd like to make to my 1700s dress before Kellie and I have our photoshoot for the Historical Costume Inspiration Festival.

I'm looking forward to...seeing Kellie, getting to dress-up in costumes, and finally getting to experience the bus!=)

I am thankful...a roof over my head, especially with all of this rain.

From the kitchen...Alex and Mom are talking.

I am wearing...a red/blue/yellow floral vintage looking blouse that I made, and a denim eight gore western style skirt.  It's long and full, and approx. 10 years old, although it doesn't look it.

Today I was/am...I was myself for awhile, then I was Arabella Bishop from Captain Blood, and now I'm a farmgirl once more.

I am creating...a crocheted laptop cover for Guido (my cousin's laptop), finally finishing a cute cowboy themed quilt that I started years and years ago, and the official Rathdrum Willie website.

I am going...to work on my costume tonight.

Scripture I am reading...2 Corinthians, Psalms, Proverbs, and James.

I am reading...Aunt Jane's Hero (Elizabeth Prentiss), The Horse and His Boy (C.S. Lewis), The Pioneers (James Fenimore Cooper), Treasure Island, my Bible, and whatever else is on my Shelfari bookshelf.

I am hoping...that there will be a few nice, clear days so Kellie and I can do our photoshoot...unless our costumes are going to consist of rain coats, umbrellas and wellies;)

I am hearing...Alex doing the dishes.

One of my favorite things...curling up in a comfy chair with a good book on a rainy day.

What I did today: Oh boy, what did I do?  Fed the animals, cleaned the living room, did some laundry, picked the last of the golden plums off of the tree, read, worked on the RW site, took a nap/rest while listening to Treasure Island on my ipod, messed around on the computer, fed the animals again, dug a few more ditches in front of the sheep shelter, ate dinner, and now I'm typing this.

A few plans for the rest of the week: go to the library (I hope!), photoshoot with Kellie, ride Bob (if I get a clear day), more cleaning, more ditch digging, more slogging about in muddy pens wearing crocs because my wellies died, get the lambs ready for butchering at the end of the month, and I'd like to go to the fabric store.

Random thought...when 9 lambs baa simultaneously, it's deafening.  And, I love the blouse I'm wearing.

Picture(s) to share...

I love our new camera:)

Oooh! What kind of camera did y'all get?

It seems Alex could make a career out of doing the dishes. He does them spectacularly!

It's the same kind as Alex's that I borrowed for our trip.  We decided to get one just like it for the family:)

He does indeed do a splendid job on the dishes!  I don't know that he'd want to do that as a career, though;)
