Outside my window...it's a bit overcast, but a lovely 67 degrees out - perfect.

I am thinking...I finally got my drivers license!  Woohoo!!

I'm looking forward to...seeing Kellie soon...I hope:)  My pulse is quite faint, dear;)

I am thankful...God's faithfulness and my family.

From the kitchen...nuttin'.

I am wearing...a denim circle skirt and a green v-neck t-shirt.

Today I was/am...Girl With iPod.

I am creating...a cover for my ipod.

I am going...to check on my sheep, who are grazing in the backyard right now.

Scripture I am reading...2 Corinthians, Psalms and James

I am reading...The Horse and His Boy (C.S. Lewis), The Pioneers (James Fenimore Cooper), and something else that I'm forgetting at the moment...oh well, if you really must know you can check out my bookshelf:)

I am hoping...to do some solo driving now=D

I am hearing...Rosemary Clooney singing Mambo Italiano on my ipod.

One of my favorite things...the color purple.

What I did today: got up (ya don't say?!), took a shower, ate breakfast, went outside and put the lambs out to pasture and the ewes and Calvin in the backyard, worked on the official Rathdrum Willie website, ate lunch, got in the motor home (oh yes, we got a motor home - pictures of that later:), and rode with Dad and Alex down the the DMV where Alex and I waited in line to get our licenses and Dad registered his new toy.  While at the DMV, I saw my friend Ashlynn who I haven't seen in years!  We had a wonderful talk, and exchanged emails.  I was just thinking about her, too.  I love providential meetings:)  So, when we were done, we got back in the motor home, drove home, and then I took pictures of me and my license with photobooth.  And now I'm typing this:)

A few plans for the rest of the week: Hat Band performance tomorrow and out of town visitors.  I'd like to exercise my new privilege and drive up to the F's house to see Kellie and finally see Aubrey's bus.  We shall see=)

Random thought...earbuds hurt when they've been in for a while - ouch.

Picture(s) to share...

I know - I look deathly pale in these pics, but really I'm not.  It's just the lighting.

Why?  You want to know why?!  I'll tell you why...I don't know ;)

Oh boy, you knew that was coming;D

Ahem, because my dad will be taking my mom to Seattle sometime towards the end of the month to a place specializing in Parkinsons to find out what's wrong with my mom and if she even has Parkinsons.  (Traveling by plane would be to hard on her in her condition, and driving and staying in a hotel would be hard too.  With the motor home, they'll have everything they need right there.)

And, being a dad, he likes big, cool toys, and is planning on taking a few trips down to sunny CA with my mom this winter, leaving us poor widdle kids to hold down the fort by ourselves;)  Also, we're hoping next Summer to take a road trip back east to visit certain cousins that we can't live without:)

The ipod (or eyepod and Sarah Jo and I call it;), is very fun!  I love it=)

I did have a lovely day.  Even the DMV was pleasant because I talked to Ashlynn:)

ttyl!
