The complete redo of my old U.S.S Vengeance ship.

[Update] Hiyah everyone! During my free time today I had a chance to crash both my U.S.S. Vengance ship as well as Seb's Sky King :P Well, technically I didn't crash the Sky King - just shot a couple flaming holes in it... Anyways, enjoy!

[Update] Hello, I exported the armada to Mars recently and would like to share it with you guys. It's not much - just a gigantic fleet of ships headed to ... defend ... Mars. It may be a bit laggy due to the fact that there are over 400 ships in the fleet or so. I recommend switching the networking mode in server settings to UDP (or whatever is listed as the fastest). Link below:

Hello everyone. This is the next generation U.S.S. Vengance ship. The first version of my ship (which doesn't look at all like this one) can be found here: http://marsxplr.com/view-7429. Enjoy!

[Update] Guess what's better than one ship. An ARMADA of ships!

[Update] Since I don't want to clutter up the forum with unnecessary posts, I'll confine my creation[s] to this one. I'll be hiding this post in 2 days.

Below is a newly completed turret.

achilles, i have made a ship out of blocks with the geiodo world creator, do you know how to make an exact copy, in a different place, like the vengence armada?

esentially, do you know  how to copy and paste a creation?

thanks!!

 ps
Awesome world!!

Looks good but why not add some more detail. I.E. airlocks, windows, turrets? Other than that, nice design.

Yeh, I was going to add turrets later today. This was mostly just the fully textured version of the ship with some blast marks around it. I was going to strip the ship down a bit as it is going to be crashed into my island map later on.

Mmm... Looks much better than the original. I agree that it should have a little more detail, though. Was that made in Modo? If so, great job! It is supposed to be a cargo ship, right?

Yes, it was made in modo. The ship is supposed to be a war type transport class ship.

There is no interior at the moment as it was just supposed to be a prop ship for one of my worlds ;)

It kinda looks like those UNSC starships from Halo,
the UNSC Pillar Of Autumn to be specific.
Try and make it look like the UNSC Spirit of Fire (Google it). That ship was a beauty.

Yeh, it was supposed to have the same type of character as the ships from Halo, but I didn't take any designs and use them in my model. The Spirit of Fire is a bit too large for what I was intending (and not to mention a bit too detailed for me to work with).

I like the idea, but I think the ship needs a better interior. And, if you wanted to, you could even name the ships! Oh, you might wah=nt to put jump points to help you get around. I like this world a lot!!!

I can easily imagine a high speed buggy chase in this world. The quarry's ship has just been reached by another buggy. The quarry makes a run for it. He dives down the shaft, confusing the pursuer. Unfortunately, the pursuer figures it out quickly and follows. Lasers zip past the quarry on all sides. He has found the next ship. Now to find the passage. Yes! It's there, right near the wing tip. He flys through, and pulls into a dive. The pursuer, thinking he has stopped, flys in and looks around. The quarry, however, is not there, and the pursuer soon exits the other side. He spots his prey, and starts a dive. The quarry has realized this, and enters one ship. The pursuer follows. The quarry flys through the ship. Suddenly, lasers fly past him. He releases wings and starts driving. He looks around, and spots his escape. He spins around and enters a small passage. The pursuer slams into a wall. While he recovers, the quarry drives into a cannon and blasts off. The pursuer is still right behind. Dodging through ships, the pursued desperately trys to avoid the lasers. He zips into a hanger. The other buggy is still far away. He finds another exit and starts accelerating. The pursuer is watching the hanger closely, when he sees a buggy zooming towards him at high speed, firing lasers. Then, the buggy goes into a dive. 500 alt. 400 alt. 300 alt. 200 alt. 100 alt. 0. -100. -200. -250. The quarry pulls out of the dive, but it is too late for the pursuer, he screams off the planet. The quarry wins this round.

Spectacular Achilles! I have been requesting a ship graveyard for so long!

Hypethetically, could you place the aloft fleet in a very deep canyon so the jet could perform well? 18,000 is really dicy flying.

For some reason, your world isn't lagy...

how...

I also have a suggestion for you (oh no. Someone ban him): what about making a floor? Or hollow ships?

It was done in modo, the ships were literally copied and pasted lots of times and moved around in the scene.

The reason why it's not laggy is that each ship is super low poly and the far clip distance on the camera is set low.

Sometimes people need to gravedig to put some quality posts on the front page.
Like this one! This world is amazing!(ly laggy for me) But it's still awesome.
Soo many hiding spots. It's one of the best places for hide-and-seek.
