help needed on sketchup to unity

i made a model in sketchup for my new world.  it's going to be a pool type place with slides (shown in sketchup) and such.  I somehow imported SOMETHING into unity lol.  but its obviously not that smooth of a conversion.  the colors are a little off, and some faces are missing....
Also, i need to know how to make it solid so a buggy can drive on it.  What scripting do you need?
Thanks,

Lewis

hmmm, all I know is that the faces need to be positive so you don't fall through, but I don't know if you have to do something in unity as well, sorry

I believe you would need the Whirld library to test and export this world. And yes positive faces are needed. To do that, color all faces so Unity detects them as faces rather than nothing. Or you can use either the offset tool or push tool to create doubled walls.

Ok then! A few things that might've caused your issues...

For one, Missing faces: In sketchup all faces must be facing correctly. Those in the right direction will be white, while those wrongly faced will be blue. To fix this, you press control and right click on a face or selected blue faces, and click ''reverse faces.'' Simple as that.

As for driving on, you don't need to script anything. ;)
You need to add a mesh collider in unity. First, select your 3d object in the Unity scene. Next, go up to the menu and click ''Component'' then roll over ''Physics,'' and click ''Mesh Collider.'' That should add a collider to your object, and I think that'll do it.

Good Luck!

Wont it be added by default if a 2D shape is colored on both faces?

If you want to see my spaceport, I can easily disprove that.
