Outside my window...it's still rainy and gloomy.

I am thinking...I will be very happy when all of this rain finally goes away.

I'm looking forward to...warm, sunny days, and my Grandma Barb's visit!

I am thankful...for my mom - she's wonderful.

From the kitchen...a half loaded dishwasher which I am supposed to be loading;)

I am wearing...a well loved denim tiered skirt with many patches and dirt stains on it, a teal green v-neck t-shirt, a denim button up long sleeved shirt, and my hair in two braids.

Today I was/am...Oscar the Grouch - the gloomy weather makes me blue:(

I am creating...a medieval dress for myself and for my cousin.  I think I finally decided what colors to make them:)

I am going...to finish downloading The Last of the Mohicans audio book from LibriVox, finish loading the dishwasher, and watch a Buster Keaton silent movie with Alex.

Scripture I am reading...Romans 5:1-6 ~

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

I am reading...All Creatures Great and Small by James Herriot and The Last of the Mohicans by James Fenimore Cooper.

I am hoping...that the rain will go away.  Are any of you getting the idea that I'm tired of rain?!

I am hearing...my dad playing his 12 string guitar in the living room.  I love it when Dad plays his guitar - it's peaceful and special.

I am wondering...when the rain will stop...lol.  I'm also wondering how I'm ever going to get the house cleaned up before my Grandma Barb and other relations arrive.

One of my favorite things...spending time with my sheep, especially my weed-eater, Calvin.  He won't let anyone else pet him, and it's a special feeling to know that he trusts me.

What I did today: a wee bit of cleaning, a wee bit of laundry, and a lot of reading:)

A few plans for the rest of the week: get the guest room cleaned up for Aunt Lorraine and Baby Sam to sleep in, get the carpets cleaned, clean the rest of the house, meal prep and planning, shopping trip with the Magnesium's for Alex and Matthew's graduation, get the sailor blouse pattern to Kellie, and, hopefully, make it to Hancock Fabrics for the Memorial Day sale!

Random thought...I like the sound of rain, just not the rain itself, although it's nice for watering the pastures.  Actually, it's not really the rain, it's the cloud cover, the lack of sunlight.  I need sunlight.

Picture to share...
There's some blue sky!

Is your Grandma Barb coming out for the Graduation, then?  That would be wonderful!  And hopefully we'll be able to visit, unlike last time=(

If you need help with anything, be it with cleaning, cooking, planning, or just a good, recharging bout of laughter, don't hesitate to let me know!

Will your shopping excursion include a trip to the infamous 50% off card store? ;)

Mmm, I love the picture - this rain is wearing on me, too, and seeing a cherry tree in bloom has helped considerably.  Cabin Fever in May... not fun. :)

Yes - she'll be here on Wednesday=)  I hope you'll be able to visit, too, besides seeing her at the graduation.  She wants to hear us sing, and I know she'd love to hear you play the accordion.  We have to play our Russian song for her:)

I just might take you up on that...especially the laughter!!  I need to get the sailor blouse pattern to you anyway, so maybe we can work something out...and we're holding your travel mug hostage;)

lol.  It will indeed;)

I couldn't agree more, Cabin Fever in May is not fun.
