My newest world

For now, I am finished with Snow-top Drop, note the name change due to a fellow player beating me to it :)
This world is characterized by 2 tall mountains where players can fly off and join an epic dogfight, nice scenery with trees and snow, base at the bottom of the mountain, and a trap where unsuspecting players get caught and get sent down, down, down......
Btw the odd blue looking thing is a "slide" where players can make a narrow escape in a wild, uncontrollable free fall into the base below.

Overview of the whole place

Driving up the mountain

Scenery atop the main mountain
Driving off the cliff to do whatever
Falling into the pit of doom....!
Mountain + ramp + "Welcome Area" lol

Please give comments so I can make it better before possibly sending it to Aubrey.....

It's almost perfect already! The only suggestion I have is that you Make the bottom part- the lowest area on the map a forest. How do you test it with a buggy in unity?

Very cool world! I would take it easy on adding trees as I think they add lag.

Not really. Those pine trees looks pretty low poly.

I mean, compared to Unity island...

And I think the trees don't show on lower quality graphics settings anyhow.

Great world! Me likes.

lol i know Unity decently well but not really anythin else haha, sketchup ive tried a little but don't like the fact that you cant type in coordinates to be really accurate, like Unity..... but obviously its good since so many people have made awesome stuff with it haha

Quite original, and very interesting! That is the one thing I've been trying to hit with my worlds: reality (notably with the cliff world.) The martian worlds by our many creators are awesome, but I've been thirsting for something that looks natural too, and this fits right in! A+ job lewis, how long have you been using Unity?

haha thanks everyone! uh this took me about........ 2 days? lol its the weekend and i had lots of time haha.  though they dont come very often, good world inspirations pop into my head and i have to build them haha.  ive been using unity idk for a month maybe? but then my computer messed up and i had to delete everything related to unity, then redownload it haha.  but i had only made 4 previous worlds but nothing near this.  i looked around the forum for tips, and asked gtr for some stuff, so thanks to all who helped me w/ this :)

GTR told me to:
download the Whirld 3 demo by Aubry.
In there it has a SCENE (very important) called "controller"
while in your world, go to file/build settings.
click "add current"
DO NOT BUILD, dont click any of the bottom buttons. instead, just exit the window.
go to file/open scene (not project)
one of the scenes available should be "controller"
open that.
the screen may be blank at first, but hit the "play" button, you should spawn and be able to drive around. for some reason the jet doesnt work for me, idk why. but buggy is probably what you want.

um idk if i missed a step lol.  Thanks GTR

btw the sky will be gray/blank if you dont have a skybox implemented.....

Without Unity Pro, you can't export it to a file playable within Mars Explorer. If you send the entire Project Folder to someone with Unity Pro, then they can export it to how to play it in game. Otherwise, you can go to the Build Settings and have it put your world into a format you can let people download and play on their own.

I followed all the steps (I already have Whirld 3) but couldn't find the controller file. :( I soooo wanna try my world, but the darn thing wont work...

And I haven'd added a skybox yet, that is to come.

alex try searching "control" in the search box in the project tab, if its not there then there must be something else you have to download....

Wow! Looks totally awesome lewis!

It is so nice to see new players coming in and creating new, quality content so quickly.

In the center basin area, I would add some very low hills, just to make it look more natural.

Other than that, I can't wait to play this!

... *speechless* ........   ...  ...  .......   ......

Anyways, nice map!  I wish to see it in Mars Explorer/the downloadable packadge.

I must explore....  It really looks awesome by the way.  The only update I could see is a the bridge not be as so, strait and more curvy, make it have zig-zags!  And then we can play CANO KING!

For everyone asking for the .unitypackage, here it is.  I myself am not sure exactly how the whole process works but i believe you can download it and play it on your unity.  btw you need the "controller scene" on your computer, im not sure if thts included in the package..... but here ya go anyway, see what you can do with it:
