EDIT

Sorry for the wait! I've now changed to DropBox! Let hope this works!

Hi again!

The Cheese Islands have been going for about seven months now... we've all been waiting WAY to long!

Recently, me and my family found out exactly how much you all have been using the Cheese Islands for the time I've had it up.

Well, the Cheese Islands has cost us a bit... something like $500 AU! Because of the traffic, the download on our remote server was HUGE!

Anyway, I have to use FileFront now so without much further ado:

Lol! Bandwidth eats into deep pockets, eh? Honestly, I'd recommend DropBox over FileFront as you can link directly to a file (No Extra Page to go through). Glad everything's coming along good in it. *I'm download it as I type* 7 months, eh? Has it really been that long? :P Anyway, Keep up the good work!

IMPORTANT EDIT: It seems that a chunk of the "Cheese islands Data_PCsharedassets1.assets" file is broken. I'll re-download, but be prepared in case you need to reupload.

EDIT 2; I've redownloaded, and still get an error on that file. Sorry!

dear flouride/Kirby_freak,

It appears that you have the same problem as me, I have a ppc (power Personal computer) and I can't play mars on it, becuase of it's obsolete processor, you can't put snow leapord on it, thus not being able to play cheese's new world, I have been forced to convert to using the family iMac for mars, so unfortunatly, unless you want to buy one of apple's new intel based computers, there is no fix.

p.s. A powermac G4?!!?

Darn... And yes, a Powerbook G4.  It's my mom's old computer that she gave to me and my siblings when she got a new one.  I'm probably not going to get my own computer 'till college.

Let me give my input:

It looks unnatural. It has a blocky, sort of "designed with a ruler" feel. Any real volcano would not be a perfect birthday cake shape. The crash site does not seem real enough... dirt wouldn't be flooding the inside. I would imagine small fires around the ship, and a bent structure. Everything is just too... clean and perfect. It doesn't seem natural to me.

I hope you take this constructively, not offensively.

None taken!

I would like to note that making terrains with blender is really hard! It loves to deform and mess up, unlike the Unity terrains which work with height maps. The sculpt tools in blender aren't really what I'm used to either!

So I can't blame you for noticing parts which aren't as good as they should be!

The crash site is supposed to be really old, so that's why there is dirt inside it.

Thanks for the input, but most of it will go into the next world I make, since I really don't want to remodel the whole thing after months of work!

I'm trying to remember, you modeled the terrain in blender so you could have the underground areas, correct?

I have a few quick things to say.

1. The links don't work it says it is unable. I'm using a MAC version 10.4.11.

2. Even if you can make the tunnels go down really far down won't that affect people after they go down 200 ft?

3. Lastly how do you add the Whirld 3 thingy into the worlds you are making? Someone told me you just drag the file that has the Whirld 3 in it and just drop it into the unity world. Is that right?

The whole world, including the tunnels, are above that.

The links seem to work on my computer. Try again, maybe it's dropbox?

I think this means it won't run on my computer. Although before on other beta tests it has worked before. I think that dropbox may be acting up.

Hmmm.... I gots an idea as to what happened there.

Supercheese, when you built the Mac Version, what setting did you use on the Build Settings window?

It should be the Universal Standalone, if that's not the one you choose.

Wow, its great cheese. I love the ''underwolrd'' tunnels, really awesome. It goes DEEP, so cool, and I found the bottom with the weird structure! Very complicated, and great! A+. This should be great on mars, specially for hide n seek, lol.

GREAT!
