Okay, I give up.  I'm just going to go ahead and do it.

I've seen several bloggers doing The Simple Woman's Daybook, so I thought I'd join the ranks...

Aside from the original Simple Woman's Daybook, I've added a few from Kellie's, and as I continue to make entries, I shall add and change to make it uniquely mine.

So, my first, official entry...

Outside my window...it's raining...again...but it looks like it might be clearing up a wee bit.

I am thinking...I can't believe it's already after 1 o'clock!  The cloud cover messed me up...

I am thankful for...a roof over my head

From the kitchen...Mom and Alex are eating lunch

I am wearing...a faded denim property skirt (meaning it's no longer fit to be seen in public, but it's comfy), a white t-shirt with a pink cable knit sweater over it, and a pink, poofy, flower headband.

I am creating...nothing at the moment, except this post - wow!  Gotta find something...

I am going...to spend the day at home catching up on laundry, and cleaning up the basement after my latest sewing mess.  It's getting there - you can actually see the floor now;)

Scripture I am reading...Revelations, and 2 Chronicles

I am reading...Miss Billy Married, Morning and Evening, The Shaping of a Christian Home, and The Captain's Dog.

I am hoping...that my headband doesn't give me a headache.

I am hearing...the keyboard, and Mom and Alex talking in the kitchen, and Dad talking on the phone in his office.

One of my favorite things...cable knit sweaters and candles

A few plans for the rest of the week: Yearbook class tomorrow, start working on the dress I'm sewing for Em, ride Bob, figure out a way to dry out the inside of my sheep shelter in preparation for lambing time.  I can hardly wait for the lambs to be born!

Random thought...my ear hurts...better take some garlic...or move my headband...ahh, that's better...

Picture I am sharing...
