These pictures were taken eons ago (well, not quite...) when we went on a field trip with our homeschool group in California to a place in LA called "The Holy Land Exhibit".
It was basically a house, with part of it converted into an exhibit on the Holy Land.  The man who started it had actually gone to the Holy Land to search for the Ark of the Covenant and other lost treasures from the Bible.  He found the place were he was practically positive that the ark was buried, but was unable to get permission to dig there (of course!).
That's about all I remember about it, but I thought that was pretty neat!=)
We have a really cool timeline put together by that same man (can't remember his name) which goes from the beginning of time (creation, Adam and Eve, etc.) to present day.  If any of you would like to see it, remind me next time you're over - it's super cool, and I never get tired of looking at it.
Alex got to model a Arab head cloth/turban thing for all of us...
There were quite a few different ways to wear it...
Alex got quite a kick out of wearing it:)
We ended up buying one from their gift shop, and it's in our dress-up trunk to this day...
Happy Trails!

I can't believe how small Alex is! I love these memory lane posts :) (And the Holy Land Exhibit sounds pretty nifty. I'd like to see it someday. Actually, I'll just aim for the official Holy Land!)
P.S. I like the slight-but-very-cool change to your page menu: Bookshelf. :)

I know, he was so little!  What happened?!;)  I like the memory lane posts, too:)  I've always enjoyed looking at our old pictures, and it's fun to share them with everyone.
It would be so neat to actually visit the Holy Land someday=)
P.S. Thanks:)  I'll be making a few changes to my blog over the next few weeks.  I've been wanting to, but for some reason I haven't, and Kellie's blog inspired me, so...:)
