The liberals do a good job of grossly misrepresenting creation science / intelligent design. But no amount of mantra or satire will invalidate creation science or providentialism.

I like this particular video because it articulates what I have been saying all along; that evolution is wrong and designed creation is right.

providentialism > naturalism

what do you think?

"providentialism > naturalism"

i'll start of with this.

Who gave you the internet?
who gave you medicine?
who gave you freedom of speech?
who gave you science?
who gave you a drive to discover and not be content with just what you are told?

hint, it's not religion.
(* YES, religion did not give you freedom of speech, don't belive me? look at all the freaking historical evidence, hell, it's still going on today with fundies cencoring all dissident speech on their youtube channels or forums.)

you are without excuse and you know it.

"The liberals do a good job of grossly misrepresenting creation science / intelligent design."

funny thing you using the  / here like the terms are the same...you must have meant "and" and not / but it's funny nontheless.

btw, we know that ID is, and it's NOT genesis, and we never claimed it was. it is however another form of "goddunnit" and in that sense has exactly the same conclusion ad genesis, although the actual content and order in genesis is not required for an ID'er.

"But no amount of mantra or satire will invalidate creation science or providentialism."

there are 2 quotes (paraphrased but accurate) that i can pull form memory that will entirely crush the  "science" part of creation science.

"now let's put on our bible glasses..."
Ken Ham

"I believe the bible is the inerrant word of the living god and i'm out to convert you. yes i'll say it up front, i'm out to get you"

Kent Hovind, well known "creation science speaker"

if you don't understand how this crushes any claim to scientific validity that creation science claims to have, you don't know what science is.

(god i love quotign when it;s actually accurate, yup you heard me, this isn't a quotemine. why? let's just w8 for you to accuse me of it and then i'll explain)

"that evolution is wrong and designed creation is right."

and why was that again? because just claimingit doesn't make it so. and it's not inteleectually honest to claim somehtign is wrong when you ahve no idea what it is or when all you know of it is some strawman you made up to ridicule it.

let me explain it to you.

creationism is the belief that the universe was created by a supernatural entity ACCORDING to ANY CREATION STORY. genesis is just ONE or these, yet it is the best known.

don't believe me? ask any theologen of any faith. or ask any historian with the specialty of "the history of philosophy".

ID, is the idea that a (possibley supernatural) intelligence interviened to introduce, or drastically alter body plans or DNA sequences. aka the "occasional tinkerer god" or the "hyper intelligent alien with to much time on his hand". that's right, ID also allowes for aliens.
to say it doesn't is to admit that it is purely a religious concept.

you don't believe me? ask Behe what ID is.

"what do you think?"

that you are one ignorant bastard to even think us so dumb as not to understand what we were arguing against. or is that just you projecting yourself onto us?

"Who gave you the internet?"

-Jehovah (provisioned and discovered through science)

"who gave you medicine?"

-Jehovah (provisioned and discovered through science)

"who gave you freedom of speech?"

-Jehovah (which the communists / socialists try to take away)

"who gave you science?"

-Jehovah (the cause to learn about our universe)

"who gave you a drive to discover and not be content with just what you are told?"

-Jehovah (gave me a free will and a flowing mind, for which I am grateful, to better discern what the atheists, evolutionists, liberals, socialists, communists try to tell me)

IN CALL POE

batshit crazy.

"

nope, that would be the tecboys of the military. you know, those people who spent their time learnign how computer code works. instead of recitign bible verses.

"
"who gave you medicine?"

-Jehovah (provisioned and discovered through science)"

actually, if it where up to jehovah we would still be exorcizing cancer patients. and we would have ignored al of the ancient egyptian and greek pagan knowledge of how the human body works.
not to mention it was taboo to do disections under the churches command. no anatomy for the christboys....

"
"who gave you freedom of speech?"

lets ignor for the moment that NL is probalby the most free and tolerant places in the world and the fact that it is a social democracy.....auch...

again ur using the terms with / which is incorrect.

"
"who gave you science?"

sooooo, by purely lokkign for natural explinations we reaffirm our conviction in a supernatural explination? no dice.

the irony that this comes from someone who is unwillign to change any of his views even in the face of overwhelming evidence. no sir, you do not want to learn, you just want to stay contempt with what your dogma tells you and your all to willing to graps at the feelbe straws around you te reaffirm your beliefs, instead of rationally disecting them.

And the supporting evidence for your explantion would be...? I don't recall reading any TCP/IP specifications in the Bible.

There is extensive documentation of the secular origins of the Internet & all of the related technologies - ditto for the rest of the things that you've ascribe to Jehovah/Yahweh/God/Santa Claus/whatever.

Yeahhhhh, keep working on it.

-_- i RLY don't want to have to take the tiem to pull patten apart, i know there is one part where he claims that fossils are evidence for a global flood. that pretty much sums it up for me.

WHY THE SPECIFIC ORDER IN THE FOSSIL RECORD THEN PATTON?
not to mention the lack of hydrolic sorting throughout the entire geological column...

I haven't watched it all yet.

1. Education:

  •
    • Four years, Florida College, Temple Terrace, FL (Bible)
    • Two years, Austin Peay State University, Clarksville, TN (Geology)
    • Two years, Indiana Univ./Purdue Univ., Indianapolis, IN (Geology)
    • Two years, Pacific School of Graduate Studies, Melbourne, Australia (Education)
    • Ph.D. in Education granted 12/10/1993
No mention of what degrees he achieved where. Just a PhD in Education and no University. I am guessing he is another Patriot mail order Doctor like that other fraud Kent Hovind.

funny thing...

if i google Don R. Patton (or variations) the only thing that comes up is a creationist site called

now then i went and started checking the schools.
Austin Peay State University
Indiana Univ./Purdue Univ

but then comes the fun part...
the part where he got his degree
and these are his words
"I actually have more hours in Geology but my doctorate is in Education."

so that means he got his doctorate...in 2 years.. at
Pacific School of Graduate Studies, Melbourne, Australia

lets google that..

but what's this? NOTHING COMES UP.

possible he could have gotten it here? but that's not what the "official document" say (check the bible site)

but i'm not sure.
but from the official paper, the pacific school of graduate studies, loks liek a bible diploma mill.
why? because these are the only courses offer accordign to the papers that Patton himself provided.

"
Master of arts
Doctor of ministry
Bachelor of arts
Doctor of biblical studies
Doctor of philosophy
Doctor of Christian education
Bachelor of ministry
Master of Divinity
Doctor of Theology"

so it's quite obvious to see what Pattons "education" doctorate is in...

Doctor of Christian education

same as hovind funny enough...mm perhaps this is a pattern.

bizarily enough. i cannot find his thesis. perhaps i'll email him to see if he still has a copy...

- This made me crack up with laughter. Seriously, creation science is an oxymoron if you haven't figured it out. If that guy is a creationist scientist then i'm an atheist priest!
