Are there any servers still up? I used to play this game quite a while ago and I know it died for a while. Is there a replacement that doesn't use unity web player? that would be pretty neat.

Personally i found terrium to be too unrefined for me to play. the dynamics are too off, and the general GUI is kind of primitive. Aubrey released the code for the newest version of Mars that he built, why didnt we just build off of that stable platform?
Eh, at any rate, i still play marsxplr and my friend alexhb+ plays also. Im on every few days for a hour or so, usually in the mornings at work when its quiet. I wish there were some legit players to play with, im tired of joining rooms with some afk noob that isnt even driving or shooting.
Choose whichever you prefer man, its totally preference. I might go to terrium once its smoothed out, but as of now i cant even register a name, it doesnt work. No one is ever there, while mars still has a few servers every time i launch it, and overall terrium is still buggy.

That's because... It's not done yet!
It was based on Mars Explorer open source; it was based on Mars Explorer 3 which was based on open source. It became too clunky or whatever and that is why it is being rewritten from scratch.
The classic terrium is not supported and it's issues will not be fixed. Wait for the rewritten terrium to be released.
I wouldn't recommend playing terrium yet because it is a little glitchy and Eric is still working on the rewrite for it. However it has active forums, and you can sometimes arrange a time to play Mars or terrium.
Bottom line is, terrium is totally worth getting in too.
