Wow, that's some high poly! :) I like it! And good job on your 3D modeling. Did you like model each vertex out or smooth it and use like... a subdivision surface? Good model. I love it! But also, if you want to implement this in-game, which could happen if someone developed this and let your vehicle be in-game, there would have to be a lower poly count. I don't know how many polys, but not too high. I love it! Keep up the good work!
I could take off subdivision but there are still quite a few how would I make less polys do you know? An how would I find out how many polys I could have do you know??
Well, I looked at the tank, and on it's most simple form with no subdivisions, was 118 vertices, with faces, and all. So a low number of polys for the lowest settings. And the highest, maybe 1000-2000? I'm not sure, as I haven't implemented ANY 3D model into a game before.
Also, I'm a Blender user. I don't really know. But isn't there like some Object info box when you turn on subdivisions? It may tell you your poly count :) good luck! Keep up the good work!
