I didn't feel like writing a whole tutorial this morning, so I just made videos.

What you need:
  • A web browser (Chrome will not work.)
  • Mars Explorer
  • Dropbox or a server and domain name
Worlds have different kinds of codes, and some probably won't work. Ones from Dropbox are usually the easiest to download.

How to download a world - Free Forge

How to download a world - Dream world

Go fullscreen and HD to see better.
At the end of both videos I tried to load the world from a local directory but it closed the window.
You probably need Firefox to load locally. Other players cannot joion if you load the world locally.

How to upload your downloaded world(s)
In this one I upload Dream world.

Looks great! But it would be helpful writing the tutorials down along with the videos to prevent confusion.

  • Saves worlds for offline use
  • Stores worlds so if URL is broken or world is changed (like GTR does with SOT & Cannons).

If you listen you wouldnt be deemed the biggest idiot here. I'm saying people arent gonna bother looking at your stuff if you just say "here's a tutorial...I forgot to write stuff in it but here's a video." your just deemed as a lazy idiot then. Not being mean but true.

You treat me like I'm dumb...but it looks like 1st grade sentences are too hard for you to read so you just ignored it. If it was me...I think I would learn a bit about 1st-6th grade sentences and MAYBE you could try to treat me like I'm dumb.

And like i said before and I'm gonna say it slowly so I can make sure nothing gets by you too quickly.

It
is
useless
if
you
confuse
people.

Got it now?

Cool post, Lamp. I think a minimalist tutorial is just fine since anyone that's interested can figure it out or ask for guidance.

Stryker, fact, you can do better.
