I think we all know who we are talking about *COUGH* natty *COUGH*

Now I have been on the forum a lot more with The Captivatingly Convenient Blah Blah You Know and I've noticed that every...single...time I come back, someone has necro'd another thread, or created another thread we likely don't need. While I am all for the 10th Amendment, I think that lamp (oops I said a name) should have a limit on how many comments/new posts he can make until he can limit himself and stop burying all the relevent discussions under a pile of old, irrelevent posts.

Oh and I know what the 10th Amendment is, that's the joke.

in essence: i agree.

Lamp, if you are reading this:
it's clear that you are pretty energic and like to draw people's attention,
but
by commenting with OT replies on current discussions, or reviving old discussions that aren't pregnant to the current situation of CC, you are partly disrupting  the forum's functioning, by shifting people's attention to irrelevant things.
Would be nice if you could stop doing that, just out of general respect for other's ideas and time.

If you would stop hiding it yourself... -_-
Look, spamming up every forum youfind is the best way to get yourself banned from Mars Explorer, Carbon Combat and Plexpedia itself.
I strongly suggest you stop, especially if you want your ban lifted.

I agree. You were given a chance to come back on Mars Explorer, and you have been flooding it with spam ever since you got back. What's more, you've now discovered the Humor America website and the Carbon Combat website, and have started attacking those two websites as well.

Somebody suggested that lamp have a thread/post limit. I highly agree with that.
Maybe that'll teach him not to spam so much.

Oh so Carbon Combat pictures AREN'T as relevant as THIS? If you want to tell something off-topic, GO TO SOUTHWESTERN SPAM OR MAKE YOUR OWN GROUP.

BTW: The first time Totoro set it to Resolved (you can see it from the Moderator Log), then I set it back to Active, and then it's been called SPAM, IRRELEVANT, so i set it back to Resolved. But seriously? Carbon Combat pictures thread is irrelevant? The Off-Topic discussion thread is way more irrelevant. you go to Southwestern Spam for that.

If you want spam, spam in the Southwestern Spam group, nowhere else.
All you are doing is spamming, and posting topics that already exist.

Well, lemme start off with a list of all your threads (and how I feel about them on a scale of 1 to 10) found at: http://forum.carbontechsoftware.com/browse-t-Lamp
* means "Can't give 10 because that would means it's the best thread in the world... which it's not. Good grammar spelling, etc."
  • what's cc: Score: 9* - You were a newcomer. You had questions.
  • Moderator Log: Score:0 - Copied, "ALWAYS SEARCH BEFORE MAKING A THREAD" Part of the rules and if you didn't know that, COMMON SENSE.
  • Error in Freestyle: Score: 7 - They were bugs but if you searched first you'd know that there is a problem with the Whirld (the system that custom worlds use, not the ones made in the cc creator) mesh (how it feels, solid, fluffy, bouncy etc.) system. Still good.
  • Discussion about premium credits: Score: 5 - http://forum.carbontechsoftware.com/view-12330
  • Carbon Combat Pictures Thread: Score: 0 - There is a pictures option when you're making a post for a reason. Why would they use yours? Your picture of an android and a car would belong in the Off-Topic Discussion Thread.
  • What Happened?:  Score: 5 - Search next time.
  • A nice view from the Flying car: Score: 9* - Good thread, nice picture (mm)
  • Custom Worlds Thread: Score: 3 - http://bit.ly/L4PRJM Search first, yada, yada, yada.
  • The problems with a certain light source: Not your thread, just has your tag.
  • Your average score: 4.75
I was being slightly lenient...
My opinions...

I made the pictures thread so you don't flood the forums with a post for each picture. The custom worlds thread is for your own worlds that you would like to feature.
I removed the android and car picture.

But why bother with the pictures thread? If it's an important topic like a glitch, it deserves its own thread. For example, do you think http://forum.carbontechsoftware.com/view-12437 and http://forum.carbontechsoftware.com/view-12515 should be in your pictures thread?
If it's a random/funny picture, maybe it should go in the Off-Topic thread or PM'd to whoever you want.

EVERYBODY CALM DOWN!!!

Now, let me quote myself for a minute:

I've noticed that every...single...time I come back, someone has necro'd another thread. or created a thread we likely don't need.

Now, you have necro'd some rather bad threads to necro. For instance, in an old thread for players to public beta test the flamethrower and minigun you posted. There was no need for any response, and no question that needed to be answered. The beta is long over and no longer is part of the game, only the game's history. This left us with a new post to look over, for no reason. Now, there really isn't any damage yet and you just took a misstep with one wrong post, right? WRONG. You see, this is only one example of some of the many posts you have made on irrelevant threads. Some of your targets include old version releases, ideas thoroughly discussed, and even old events. Now my newest submissions page has been clogged up by threads you have brought to the top, and it is now pretty much useless. Whether this is technically spam or not, you should still not have necro'd these posts.

Your rating given before on your own threads is pretty bad (thanks, whoever wrote it. Can't check while editing this) and we need to do something about getting it higher. Sometimes you got a high score which is good, other times you got mid-range scores which could be a mistake (if not repeated) and the very low scores you got were threads that should never have been made and there is no excuse. You have put in a few in every category which while I want to ease back a bit since you have shown you can behave but there is just too many problems to not do anything. Now not a mod myself, and not really wanting to send away a member of the community I encourage you to please ease off the necro'ds and the wasteful threads. If you can't do that yourself, then as a community we will likely have to do something.
