well as you may already know, im working on my castle map with gex. it takes alot of time since we plan it to be a big and fun map.although i came up a few ideas to improve map maker.1. maybe making some parts attach so when u want i.e. a barricade stuck together well maybe u can use a attach botton to attach the pieces.2.maybe adding a test button so u can actually test to see if there's need of any adjustments etc... well this is some of my ideas i came up of forgot a few but ill keep updating this if i remember!

edit:3. maybe adding items in groups so for example a group of trees, a forest etc.
edit2:how about different shapes idk maybe a 3d sphere or a cylinder etc.

i see where your going there i think as well as having groups of trees and stuff i think it would be good to have more items on mapmaker suck as like of battle island you have bases it would be nice to put those in your map to if its possible.

Use unity. Much better, if you know how to import sketchup files.
