I used to listen to this song a lot when I lived in Virginia Beach for 3 months. It was one of my favorites and that was the type of music you wanted to hear when you lived on the beach.
Life was a party there and I miss it even if it was just 3 months. I lived the summer and beginning of fall there and it was great. My family and I became so homesick and then we moved back to PA.
To close to our family to leave them behind. My family and I lived with my aunt and cousins and were looking for a home near the boardwalk when we lived there. Then we decided, that since there's hurricanes and the winds, we said no to that lol!
It's a big city and my favorite place was the boardwalk. There were so many nice people there and with the southern accent, I found it very funny. I almost started speaking and sounding southern after 3 months there and it drove me nuts! I was from Pennsylvania not Virginia and I didn't want to lose my small PA town accent lol!
Ehh, there's not really an accent here, but were that weird little industrial town. :P
I still go to Virginia and the last time I was there was in November for Thanksgiving to visit my aunt and cousins after 2 or 3 years of not being there. They have a swimming pool and we were going to go swimming since the weather was nice, but we didn't feel like it.
I still consider Virginia Beach my home. The summers were always long and we ALWAYS went on many trips there. I remember going to Kitty Hawk, North Carolina and collecting sea shells and just running in the water trying to avoid the hermet crabs. lol!
I may go back again this year over the summer, but im sure im going to Washington D.C. before then. I know im definetly going to Gettysburg again sometime soon.
I will be going with my dad again to help him find statues of generals on horses and to go ghost hunting. :D
I have been showing and teaching him about Gettysburg since, he doesn't know a lot about the place. Im very excited to go back and show him Little Round Top again. You can see the whole town and many more places from there. It's amazing to watch the sun go down there as well.
I hope that one day, maybe I can move to Gettysburg. Im sure my goal of becoming a Lawyer will work fine there. They have A LOT of law offices there and in Chamberburg so, I think it would be nice to get to know the people there as well. There also very, very kind and very nice.
They have both a southern accent at times, but stay rich to history of the small town. They like to keep everything original and welcome everyone who comes. It's very hot and humid there, but I can handle that after living in Virginia Beach! lol!
