     Character Anaylsis of Huckleberry Finn

 

     Huckleberry fin is the character that would be especially believable, unique, compelling, or typically American. Because the meaning of an American is not only living in America but also going out ones way and being a abolitionist because he didn’t like slavery. The American thing to do is not like slavery and in the declaration of independent it didn’t talk about slavery but in the declaration of independent it said “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” we hold these truths to be self- evident- that means that we should be telling the truth to be obvious. I would have to say that huckleberry Finn could tell when someone would tell them the truth and could tell a person the truth easily.  All men are created equal. When you think about it all men are created equal means to me that what color you are or what religion there is no difference between one person and the other. Huckleberry Finn didn’t like slavery and in my opinion it would go against the constitution and declaration of independence. The reason why he is unique is because he is practical and often socially naive views and perceptions provide much of the satirical humor of the novel. It is important to note, however, that Huck himself never laughs at the incongruities he describes. Also that he is able to adapt almost any situation through deceit. He is playful but practical, inventive but logical, compassionate but realistic, and these traits allow him to survive the abuse of Pap, the violence of a feud, and the wiles of river con men. To persevere in these situations, Huck lies, cheats, steals, and defrauds his way down the river. So in conclusion huck is a good example of an American because he is not a follower he is a leader. Also if you think about it he is the most American person in the whole entire book not because he is the main character but also because he does what he wants to do.
