Hello Martians!
Some of you may have noticed Ecto's post requesting for a new world to be made for Mars, the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. You might know that I've been busy making this world.
Well, dear Martians, it's finished! Here is a video I made to show you all the sheer awesomeness of this new world!

Special thanks to:
-Abister for exporting the world.
-Emperor Ectoshock for giving the suggestion for this new world to be made.

I love this level, though there is a glitch.  I don't know if it's s'posed to be there or not, but here it is: (under the ramp thing)
Also, what song is that?  Sounds nice :)An empty space under the ramp...

I'll see if I can lower the height of that ramp then it won't just be floating. Thanks for alerting me :)

BTW that song is the Soundtrack from an awesome Science Fiction film called Sunshine...
If you have'nt seen it you MUST!

Out of curiosity, was the loop in your halfpipe inspired by my world?
It looks like a fun world, I'll try it out soon.

Yes I did take my inspiration from your Skate Park when making this one. I first wanted to do a separate loop but I found it too hard so I made one like yours!
Thanks for the idea :)

Nice work. Were you drinking tea when you were making this? The building reminds me a bit of a teacup

You've never heard of Dragon Ball Z, then. There's lot's of tea in it. At least the letter T, because they say "the" a lot, just like you and me!

Haha it's a martial-art style anime with a lot of grunting and giant, glowing, yellow, poofy hair.

But, Bob, what I ment to say was he didn't make it up. It's based off of an idea someone had to make a world based off of the TV show.

And, to Pancakes: I am extremely appreciative of your work on creating my idealized world for me. Thank you so much. :)

And, also to you too, Abister. For exporting it. :)

Your over 9000?

Is there anything "cool" in this world. Not that it isn't cool. It's just that I expected more.

You know what? Your a jerk. LEAVE ME ALONE! WHERE IS MY SOURKRATE! *crys in corner of the room and curls up into a ball*

In this particular case, I do agree with you Abister. However, pocketMAD is not always an irritating know-it-all who calls people jerks. So please don't degrade yourself by trolling about him.

What do you mean "his level?" Frankly, Pancakes, you were once worst than cav when you came to mars. And you are still kinda n00bish these days. So don't think you're all that when you are just embarresing yourself. Please try to see it from different perspectives instead of looking through that keyhole of yours.

And to tell you the truth, pancakes, this is pretty boring. I'm not saying that it's a crappy world but, compared to your previous made worlds, this is pretty lame. So technically this is a compliment. You can't complain about compliments, pancakes.

Also, abister, you are a n00b.

Everyone used to be a noob. Most used to be n00bz. I agree that Pancakes used to be a n00b but he's changed, drastically. I didn't start believing it until lately, but I finally admit he has.
Nobody has completely gotten over their n00bish origins, not even you, pocketMAD. Definately not me.

Abister is NOT a n00b.

PocketMAD's been rather...angry? for the past few days.
There's a difference, but some see any criticism (constructive or no) as being bad.
Someone cranks out a world, it's a box (an empty box in the middle of an orange plain), they say, "Wow nice world! Can't wait to play it!" and then when someone tries giving criticism ("Maybe try adding a bit more to your world; frankly it's rather boring") they flame them.

Not saying your world is bad, Pancakes.

"You know what I think it needs? Blah blah blah..." - Constructive Critism.

"This world is lame, boring, and fake and gay." - Idiotique Critism.

Those are my definitions. What about you guys?

Constructive:
-Hmm, this world would be better if _______.
-Perhaps you ought to ______.
-Please ______ to make it better.
or even
-This world wouldn't be as s***ty if ________.

Bad:
-This world is bad. You suck for making it.
-This world sucks. Make it better.
-Mods, take this down, it sucks.

Anyone recognize any common themes? That's right. Constructive criticism offers suggestions for improvement.

It's just another lame troll by pocketMAD, NOT constructive critisism.

It's NOT constructive criticism and what made you think that?
Where in pocketMAD's criticism is an idea for improvement?

Constructive critism adds suggestions. PocketMAD hasn't given one suggestion. A better example of constructive critism is: "This world needs more. How about adding floating islands?"

That's exactly the point I was trying to get across... What pocketMAD was saying was NOT constructive critisism. In fact, it could easily be caracterised as trolling seeing as he called us jerks.

I started a flame war. lol

Anyhow, this is what I meant to say.

This world isn't as well as your other beautiful worlds. Ergo, I suggest adding something. Perhaps a secret tunnel that hyperbolically sends you to another world (platform rather) that has similarities to this world but with, oh I don't know, lava? Giving the illusion of going back in time.
Or maybe a tunnel, that is hyperbolic, that goes to the future. Which is actually another platform but with a city or something with the theme of the future.

But those are quite hard add-ons. However, it's just a frakin' suggestion.

THERE you go!

But this is based off of a thing in a TV show. It's not a time-machine, it actually slows down time. When one year goes on  inside, one day passes outside.

Wrong. If that is the case, then it is speeding up time rather than slowing it down.

There. That's better criticism. :)
I wouldn't call it a flame war, it'd be...a disagreement/misunderstanding. (that's what they all say,  neh?)
The chamber is rather like a Slider's speed bubble, from Alloy of Law. It doesn't make you go in the future, it simply slows down time outside.

...I actually kinda like PocketMAD's idea about the world there...
But, what's done is done, and the world itself looks great, inside and out, and as always, I'm grateful for how it came out in Pancakes' artsmanship.
Plus, Ender's description about the Time Chamber is correct. What would seem like only a simple day on the outside world would seem as a simple year in the inside world - blocking out the sensing of energy levels of those in the outside world. Or even better, blocking out the "energy levels" of pure, unadulterated, merciless n00bs - Psh... if they even had any... =P
