The link should be UnitySetup-2.6.1.exe for WIN (it's still Unity 2.x but a more stable version).
The Mac version is http://download.unity3d.com/download_unity/unity-2.6.1.dmg

umm yeah evan pretty much everyone had already found how to download unity 2.6.1... all you have to do is google it... -_- on the unity answers forum it will tell you all you need to do is find the download link for 3.4 and substitute 3.4 with 2.6.1... so... yeah... i dont think this is a particularly relevant post
